New race formats in 2023

The Powerman Zofingen will offer new race formats next year. This is especially true for the junior and beginner categories in the form of sprint and super sprint distances.

The Powerman Zofingen 2023 will offer a Fun Super-Sprint (2.5 km run, 10 km bike and 2.5 km run) for beginners who want to try a duathlon and even a Performance Super-Sprint for performance-oriented athletes. This Performance Super-Sprint (2.5 km running, 10 km cycling and 2.5 km running) is planned with drafting (slipstreaming). In 2023, the Swiss junior championships will be held in the city of Thut at the same time. This will take place in the form of the schoolchildren’s Swiss championships in the format of 1 km running, 5 km cycling and 1 km running and the youth/junior Swiss championships (2.5 km running, 10 km cycling and 2.5 km running). “This means that we now have everything on offer in terms of distances and requirements, from the super sprint distance to the long-distance race,” says a delighted OC President Stefan Ruf. “And for the youngsters, our offer goes from the 5-year-olds up to the 19-year-olds without any gaps.” You can already register for all these new offers via Datasport: https://secure.datasport.com/?power23
